When: 19 Nov 2005 The SNO gang were almost complete and we actually went out on a saturday. We haven't been spending much time as a group since each of us has their own thing especially on a weekend. Trex hangs out with Jedd. I hang out with Red. Don sometimes hangs out with Shiela. Thea has her saturday morning classes and is usually tired at the end of the day and would rather stay home. Allan is in Cavite, Las Pinas or out of the country. Glenn is the only one available. Hehehe! But since Jedd left for the US last friday, I was also in Makati, Allan will be going to DLSU, we decided to go out. Thea and I were already in Makati so we went ahead to Tiendesitas. Glenn, Trex and Allan were in DLSU Taft so they just followed. Like us, they got lost a little bit but eventually found their way there. Here's what we did in Tiendesitas: 1. Window shopping - I wasn't able to buy anything. Allan bought gifts for their company kris kringle. Trex bought a glittery scarf/belt which she instantly wore on her head. Thea bought hair accessories. Glenn didn't buy anything as well. 2. Dinner - almost all of us ordered Chicken Inasal and we pooled our money to buy Puto Bumbong and bibingka. I love the bibingka! 3. Picture-taking - since it was our first time in Tiendesitas, we absolutely had to take photos. Thea, Trex & Maan @ Tiendesitas 4. Car Show - Glenn, Allan and I bought tickets which cost P30 each. Trex and Thea would rather window shop. Truthfully, I couldn't care less about cars but I wanted to support this car show since it was organized by one of our OJTs. Glenn had fun checking out the sound systems which were customized into the cars. I also cannot help but be amazed by what they've done with their cars. Nakakabilib! We saw a two-door violet Eclipse which I adored. So I asked Glenn if I can go in and check the interiors. Oo daw! So when he opened the door, the alarm went off! One of the organizers had to call the owner of the car to shut off the alarm. Then there was this yellow car which plays tricks on your eyes. It's yellow but when hit by light it turns it to Pomelo Pink. It also had blue headlights which I loved and wanted to get for my car. Unfortunaley, that costs around P40K according to Glenn and Allan. So wag nalang. Leather seats nalang kukunin ko. How much is the Kitty in the window? Meow meow! After that, we did our last bit of window shopping before heading home. Actually, Glenn went home while Trex, Allan and I brought Thea to Park Square 2 then headed off to Starbucks Leviste to meet up with Don. Since it's the Christmas Season, Starbucks is again offering their planner which you can get for free by collecting their stickers. Since I already got one last year (and I haven't fully utilized it), I don't plan on getting another one. Instead, I'll be helping Don to get his 2006 Starbucks Organizer since he helped me a great deal with mine last year. As usual, I ordered my favorite drink - Hot Peppermint Mocha. It tastes like hot choco with toothpaste which Don hates so he ordered a different hot drink. Allan ordered the usual frap and Trex ordered nothing because she is not a coffee drinker. Our conversation mostly revolved around Pinoy Big Brother and what it would be like if our barkada were to join PBB. We were already discussing our plan and who to evict first. It was hilarious! 2 points for Don for being Kupal. We also discussed our "drawing sa tubig" plans of going to Davao and organizing a Christmas Party for the SNO gang. We talked about the PBB casts such as Franzen who we think is psychotic, Cass and Say who are maarte, Jason & Nene who are our faves and our best bets to win this reality tv show. Of course, our night will not be complete without gossiping about the people we know. Kapag wala ka, pag-uusapan ka! Coffee Drinkers: Don, Maan & Allan Say & Cass: Pasaway Partners in Crime at Starbucks Leviste After more senseless talk, we decided to call it a night. There are plans of going out for dinner next week. Hopefully that plan would push through. --- Special mention: Marianne, we miss you! See you this coming December!
Who: Maan, Thea, Trexyl, Glenn, Allan & Don
Where: Tiendesitas then Starbucks Salcedo Village
5. Pet Window Shopping - I love cats especially the furry ones like Persian cats. So Thea brought me to this Pet Store where they displayed persian kittens. The minute I saw them, it reminded me of Omy and Misha. Now I am again contemplating of getting a persian cat even though I know that maintaining one would give me a headache. One of the kittens reminded me of Omy so I took a picture of it hoping that if I show it to Mama, she would be encouraged to get one again. While Thea and I were looking at the kittens in the window, Trexyl was again window shopping since she couldn't care less about pets and she is terrified of dogs.
2 points for Allan for being Pasaway.
2 points for Maan for being a Bitch.
2 points for Trexyl for missing Jedd.
Trex the Angel/Cowgirl about to be stabbed by a fork by Maan the smiling devil Trying the sexy pose but failed miserably: Devil Trex, Hawaiian Boy Don, Cowgirl Maan Glenn as the shy school girl with a lei around his neck
Where: Trex's place
Who: Maan, Trex, Glenn, Don
Before the start of the long weekend, some of us decided to hang out and just chill. Since almost everyone is saving for the rainy days, we decided to hang out at Trexyl's place and just order in Aling Nene's barbecue.
I picked up Trexyl at RCBC then we picked up Don near the new People Support building. Don called Glenn and told him to go to Trex's place and to bring some drinks and chips.
Trex, as usual, was trying to study for her FINACC quiz. Since Don and I were being a bit noisy, Trex handed me a book which she borrowed from an officemate titled HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. I read some of it but it bored me after some time. Sometimes I wonder why smart people like me and Trex even bother to read these self-help books. I think they are a waste of time and money. In my opinion, the advice written on the book are also the same advice which you can get from your friends. A lot of people already know the answer to their problems but still refuse to do it. They seek advice hoping to hear the words they love to hear. Maybe this is the reason why Trex, Marianne and I are such great friends. We tell each other the things we want to hear and not the THE-TRUTH-HURTS crap that we get from self-help books. We had enought of those from Glenn and Don. Hahaha!
The delivery actually took about 15 minutes to arrive which was kind of fast. Since we were so hungry, we started eating our barbecues without Glenn. By the time Glenn arrived with the chips and softdrinks, we were almost half finished with our dinner. After that, we just lounged around Trex's sala and waited for Pinoy Big Brother to go on air. I don't usually watch this show but since Trex is an avid fan and watches it daily and her TV doesn't have cable, I watched the show with them.
And I have to say that I ENJOY WATCHING PINOY BIG BROTHER! Some housemates like Cass and Say are so maarte that it's fun watching them. We cannot help but laugh when Cass offered tha Aeta her bra and we had to roll our eyes when Say was crying over 3 inches of her hair being cut off. We think Sam is cute and there's a bit of similarity with Jedd (Trex's BF). Much to Jedd's irritation.
After watching PBB, we decided to take some pictures with our head gears on. I had my devil headband and Trex wore her cowboy hat. The guys had to imrovise so they used the flower decor of Trex and a scarf as head gear. We also get Trex's lei from Hawaii as an addition to our costume. During our photo session, we were able to witness the artistic talents of Glenn.
When: 01 October 2005
Where: Alabang Area (Pancake House, Alabang Town Center, Vivere)
Who: Maan, Trexyl, Glenn and Allan
Since I don't have any saturday classes (or any class for this term), I've become so lazy to get out of bed on a saturday. I feel like just staying home and watch TV all day. But then again, no man is an island. I will have to socialize with people, especially with the SNO gang.
Kung before ako ang kaladkarin, ngayon sila naman. Bilog talaga ang mundo!
Since I was too lazy to go anywhere, I told them that I don't want to go to Makati so they better make the journey to Alabang. And they agreed! Thus I have no choice but to move my lazy butt off the bed and turn off the TV and get dressed.
At around 6PM, I met up with Trexyl, Allan and Glenn at Pancake House Alabang. We ate dinner there and I showed off my new SE K750i which pissed Trexyl a little bit. Hahaha! I ordered the usual Chicken Asparagus Sandwich w/ fries, Allan ordered steak and nachos, Trexyl ordered the Mix 'N' Match combo of pan chicken, taco and spaghetti, and Glenn ordered pancakes and Adobo. I ended up eating a bite out of everything.
After dinner, we decided to burn the calories by window shopping. Trexyl, as usual, bought something. Allan bought new shoes. Glenn didn't get anything and I almost bought this sandals from Charles & Keith. Maybe I'll get them this weekend.
By 9PM, we went to Vivere to just hang out. Trexyl and Allan ordered a bottle of red wine. Glenn and I got a milkshake. Since we're the designated drivers, we're not allowed to drink. But even if I'm not the designated driver, I still won't drink because I'm allergic to alcohol.
Since Trexyl and I are so proud of our cellphones, we took pictures! Thank God for bluetooth, Trexyl can now send the photos to me without sending it via MMS.
We finished before midnight and decided to call it a night. Sayang wala si Don, Thea, Marianne, Jerard, Joe, Sarah and the others.
We celebrated Glenn's birthday at Greenbelt. Dinner at Recipes then drinks at... uumm.... I can't remember. Somewhere in Greenbelt 3.
People present were of course Glenn and I, Trexyl, Don, JB, Thea, Allan and Joe.
At Recipes, before our food was served, Don and I finally became friends again. After more than 2 months of not talking to each other because of a stupid and petty argument, we are now again in talking terms. Umpisa na naman ng mga kabalahuraan. Sayang wala si Marianne. Mas magiging masaya siguro.
After dinner, we went to Greenbelt 3 for drinks. Since I am the designated driver, I am not allowed to consume any alcoholic drinks. So Thea and I ordered a strawberry milkshake. But I am guilty of taking a sip or two of Allan and Trexyl's drink.
Before the night ended, Glenn confessed to us that his girlfriend whom he said was in the USA was actually here in the Philippines. No biggie. At least he got that out of his chest. Nakahinga na si Glenn. Nakahinga na rin si Don. Hehehe.
We went home at around 12NN. How ironic. Kung kelan may car ako, maaga na kami umuuwi ngayon. Hindi na ako palaboy and kaladkarin. Actually, I do miss those days. Yung walang uwian, puro kwentuhan, hanggang madaling araw. Oh well.
Listen to the good advice of your friends. Thank them for their concern, then do exactly how you feel. Hey, it's your life. Just don't whine afterwards. -- Jessica Zafra
I am fighting the temptation to drink a glass of cold water. After talking non-stop over dinner and over a tall peppermint mocha frap, I am taking into consideration what Glenn said that if I drink I might not be able to speak afterwards and I have experienced not being able to speak during the time I worked for a call center...
Anyway, before I digress from the main topic of this entry, we talked about relationships and love and all the shit which comes from talking about love.
Sa tagal at dami ng pinag-usapan namin, I don't know where to start and how to start it.
We talked about the 3 stages of love: Falling In Love, Falling Out of Love, and Deciding to Love. I have to say that my favorite stage would be Falling In Love.
We talked about the "97/3". That 97% of what you are looking is already in your partner. But we tend to look for the 3% in another person. The question is, will you jeopardize your relationship with the 97% over the 3%?
We talked about hypocrisy and choices. Don't tell me that you're this kind of person and you will never be bad when in fact, you've never been bad because you were never given a chance to be bad or choices to choose from. Don't tell us that you will not engage in pre-marital sex when the truth is, you were never given a chance or a choice to engage in it. The hypocrisy makes me sick!
We talked about temptations. Bakit ang bawal ang sarap gawin?
We talked about getting hurt. That everyone goes through it. May nagsabi, "Hindi nyo kasi kami naiintindihan. Alam mo ba nararamdaman namin?" Sabi ng isa, "Hindi nila alam. Wag na tayong humingi ng advice sa kanila." Sabi naman nila, "Pinagdaanan na namin yan."
Questions were asked like, "Hanggang kelan?" and "Bat nya 'to ginagawa kung mahal nya girlfriend nya?" and "Special ba ako sa kanya?" and "Na-de-depress ako! Anung gagawin ko?" and "Mahal mo ba or pride mo lang."
In the end, we toasted to closure. Pero may closure nga ba? Parang wala. Parang nasayang lang laway natin. Pero masaya sya. Therapy. Ang sarap i-process. Ang sarap i-analyze. Gawin natin ito ulit sa Batangas. Magdadala ako ng Tequila at Bailey's. Si Allan magdadala ng Partee at Viz!!! Hahaha!!!
In the end, it is better to Let Go and Let God.
Di ba
Tangina nagmukha akong tanga
Pinaasa niya lang ako
Lecheng pag-ibig to-o-o-oh
O diyos ko ano ba naman ito
--- Eraserheads, Pare ko
Note: Let's all pray for the speedy recovery of Marianne's mom who's suffered a stroke and is currently confined in Las Pinas' Doctors. Marianne, we miss you already. Sana makasama ka sa Batangas this weekend. Inform us kapag pwede na kaming dumalaw sa hospital.
When: 19 March 2005
Where: Tiananmen, Makati Ave.
Who: Trexyl, Josie, Thea, Jerard, Glenn, JB, Maan, Marianne, Don and Allan (seating arrangement order - clockwise)
Since everyone was present at Tiananmen, I assumed that Don once again initiated the Question and Answer Portion for tonight.
The rule of the game is that everyone should answer all the questions truthfully.
Question # 1: When was the last time you did 'it'?
1 person did it 3 weeks ago, 1 person did it 3 years ago.
Question #2: What is your favorite postion?
Someone said missionary, another 'all positions' and one person's least favorite position is '69'. Sino kaya ang mga ito?
Question #3: How old were you during your first time?
Youngest was 15 (pokpok) and the oldest is 24. Hhmmm...
Question #4: Wildest place you ever did it (not necessarily sex)?
Elevator, bus, mall, car, house (nandun kasi yung nanay kaya wild talaga), office.
Question #5: One Night Stands?
3 said yes, others said never. Sino yung 3 na yun?
Question #6: What turns you on?
Girls: Witty aka Smart and Funny
Guys: neat girls with clean fingernails
Question #7: Turn offs?
Girls: Guys with false teeth, self-centered, bobo
Guys: Dirty fingernails, loud girls (ahem!), Bad Breath, Body Odor, Bad smell sa...
Question #8: Have you ever cheated on your partner?
Some said yes, some said no.
Is there any question I forgot to list down? Paki-post nalang.
After Tiananmen, half of us headed home and half of the group went to Trexyl's place. While on our way to Park Square 2, inside Glenn's car, the following events happened:
1. Pinag-usapan ang mga boylets.
2. Si Glenn naiputan.
3. May nagpustahan.
4. Sabi ni Thea weakness nya ang mga gwapo kahit na gago. Pero matalino daw sya kaya di sya papatol sa gwapong gago.
5. Sabi ko, "Ang pag-ibig nakakabobo."
6. Nag-agree sa akin si Marianne and Josie. Bakit kaya sila nag-agree? Nagpakatanga na ba sila dahil sa pag-ibig? This is the next question to be answered sa susunod na pagkikita.
When: 11 - 12 December 2004
Where: Makati Cinema Square --> Power Smash --> Some SPA in QC --> David's Tea House --> The Fort --> Trexyl's Place
Who: Maan, Marianne, Josie, Carrie, Don, Glenn, Joe, Jerard, Trexyl
Learnings and realizations:
1. Pag masyadong maingay sa class, nagagalit pala ang teacher and pwedeng magbigay ng surprise seatwork.
2. Ang teacher pwede rin palang maging maingay. (Ahem! Josie, ikaw 'to).
3. Kahit pala walang lisensya pwede pa rin mag-drive. Wag nga lang sana mahuli ng pulis.
4. Si Marianne madaling kausap. Kahit na walang dalang pang-badminton eh nakapag-badminton pa rin. Marianne would like to thank Josie and Makati Cinema Square for her badminton outfit.
5. Si Don super competitive and bossy when playing badminton. Ayoko na sya makasama sa badminton - ever.
6. Si Josie magaling pala talaga mag-badminton.
7. I have no hand-eye coordination and it would be better for me to ditch badminton and to look for another sport - say, wallclimbing with Thea?
8. Mahirap pala ang hindi magsabi ng bad words or manlait. Bad habits are hard to break.
9. Ang KUPAL daw ay hindi bad word. Pero ang KAPAL ay may penalty na P10.
15. Hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong na-re-receive na pictures from the digicams of Jerard and Joe.
16. Nakaka-miss din pala kayo. Kelan ang next gimmick natin?
