When: 11 - 12 December 2004
Where: Makati Cinema Square --> Power Smash --> Some SPA in QC --> David's Tea House --> The Fort --> Trexyl's Place
Who: Maan, Marianne, Josie, Carrie, Don, Glenn, Joe, Jerard, Trexyl
Learnings and realizations:
2. Ang teacher pwede rin palang maging maingay. (Ahem! Josie, ikaw 'to).
3. Kahit pala walang lisensya pwede pa rin mag-drive. Wag nga lang sana mahuli ng pulis.
Marianne would like to thank Josie and Makati Cinema Square for her badminton outfit.
5. Si Don super competitive and bossy when playing badminton. Ayoko na sya makasama sa badminton - ever.
6. Si Josie magaling pala talaga mag-badminton.
7. I have no hand-eye coordination and it would be better for me to ditch badminton and to look for another sport - say, wallclimbing with Thea?
Bad habits are hard to break.
9. Ang KUPAL daw ay hindi bad word. Pero ang KAPAL ay may penalty na P10.
15. Hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong na-re-receive na pictures from the digicams of Jerard and Joe.
16. Nakaka-miss din pala kayo. Kelan ang next gimmick natin?
When: 03 Dec 2004
Where: Grilla and Starbucks, Rockwell
Who: Maan, Trexyl, Glenn, Don
Oops! Wait a minute, kapeng mainit! If you are already planning on calling and complaining to Sun's Customer Service Hotline regarding the decrease of their 'free text' for their 24/7 Promo and being a really irritating bitch (like me), hold your horses! Gently put down the phone and just read on.
After a very stressful week (for me), I decided to screw the little mountain of documents on my desk which are waiting to be read and sorted and just go out and enjoy a relaxing dinner with Glenn, Don and Trexyl.
I have to say that I admire Glenn's courage for driving from Manila to Makati without a license and fetching me and Trexyl at work. A big applause for Glenn for learning his lesson and not listening to my directions when it comes to navigating the streets of Makati. From now on, I will try my damndest to keep my mouth shut when it comes to left and right turns in Makati while Glenn is still license-less.
While waiting for Trexyl at RCBC's pick-up point, congratulations were given to Don for getting into Maybank and finally being able to leave his shitty job and shitty boss. I pray to God that I may be able to get into the job I applied for. If I get in, I promise to treat you guys for dinner... di lang one cup rice... sasamahan ko pa ng toyo. Haha!
Then we drove all the way to Grilla Rockwell at a very, very slow rate. Alam nyo na kung bakit. As usual, we ate in a grill resto since it's the cheapest. I highly recommend the Grilla Sampler with mushrooms, bbq, kwek-kwek, baked tahong and fries. I hated the sisig sampler though.
After dinner, we decided to go to Starbucks Rockwell for coffee. Before we could go there, we have to make a really, really long U-turn. Grabeh!
So after about a 15-minute travel by car from Grilla Rockwell to Starbucks Rockwell (o ha! ang lawak ng Rockwell. 15 minutes ang travel time namin!), we finally had coffee. At around 10PM, I told them that I had to go so that means WE had to go because they need to drop me off at Park Square 2. At ayaw ng Glenn! Ayaw pa nyang umuwi. 15 minutes pa raw. So ang Trexyl ay nagyayang mag-Tagaytay which was fine with me because I live in Cavite and it was also fine for Don because it's not his card and he's not the one driving. But it was definitely not fine for Glenn.
